Need Urgent Medical Care? Centro Médico Latino Is the Answer
The Latino community is the fastest-growing ethnic minority in the U.S., yet Latinos suffer from poorer healthcare outcomes than non-Latino groups. This is most likely due to the Latino community’s low health insurance coverage numbers. At Centro Médico Latino, we commit ourselves every day to doing our best to improve this concern within our community.

Services We Offer
Our well-qualified and experienced medical staff provide the highest standard of care. Family medicine requires doctors to cover a wide range of conditions, and we are proud to say that our team is up to the task. To ensure that we can meet the needs of our patients, we offer the following services:
- Pediatrics – Specialized care for our youngest patients helps them thrive as they grow. We work with parents to keep children healthy and support their growth and development.
- Women’s Health – Meeting the needs of women means providing care that adapts to each stage of their lives. Attention to women’s unique needs helps prevent and treat common problems they deal with.
- Men’s Health – By focusing on the diseases and conditions that typically affect men, we can help them stay healthy over the years. Our exams target the medical issues that are most likely to impact men’s lives.
- Geriatrics – The health challenges of elderly patients require expert care. Our compassionate and attentive doctors can diagnose and care for problems frequently seen in older patients.
- Minor Surgery – Our specially trained doctors perform in-office procedures. Having these procedures done in the clinic reduces the burden on the patient without compromising the standard of care.
- Fertility Care – Our patients can turn to us when struggling to grow their families. We will look into many factors that can impact someone’s ability to conceive.
- Immigration – We provide the USCIS Immigration Physical Exam (form I-693) for patients becoming US citizens.
- Tests and Vaccinations – We provide testing for COVID-19 and other diseases. We also offer vaccinations for all ages, including both COVID-19 and flu vaccinations.
- Additional Medical Services – On top of our regular services, we also provide a range of specialized diagnosis and treatment options, including Mental Health Services, Surgical Clearance Exams, Sexually Transmitted Infection Treatment, Digestive Disorders, and Physical Exams for Work, Sports or School.
If our doctors determine that you need additional care beyond what is offered at our clinic, we will work to connect you with the medical professionals you need.
Why Choose Centro Médico Latino for Your Urgent Care Clinic?
Many Latino community members do not have a family doctor, also known as a primary care physician. Waiting until we need hospital care increases the expenses related to any illness. Putting off treatment also brings down our healthcare outcomes. In addition, many of our elders may live far from healthcare providers or cannot travel to family doctor appointments on their own.
An urgent care center like Centro Médico Latino provides an easy way to get needed medical services closer to home when your family doctor is not available or when you do not have a family doctor. In an urgent care center, you can receive walk-in medical care for urgent medical concerns, so you do not have to visit a traditional (and much more expensive) emergency room.
Our core values are another reason to visit Centro Médico Latino’s urgent care clinic. Those core values include the following:
- Our goal is to treat each patient with dignity and respect.
- We maintain the goal of keeping up with the latest in medical technology.
- We aim to keep lab tests and other expenses low to make them as affordable as possible for our patients.
- We deliver treatment results and options with honesty, open discussion, and empathy.
Our healthcare staff, headed by Dr. Carlos Rish, MD, has decades of experience delivering affordable healthcare in a manner targeted to overcome barriers to healthcare access in the Latino community.
