I chose the medical field for the ability to see a person not solely as a disease but as a whole being psychologically, biologically, and socially to help them live life to the fullest, is a very rewarding feeling day in and day out.

Activities I enjoy: I love spending time with my family and my dogs. I enjoy exercising, reading books, nature, hiking, swimming, and a good movie is always fun.

Education: Bachelor of Medicine from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara, Mexico. Additionally, Social Service and Internship at the American British Cowdray Hospital, Mexico City, Mexico (1976 to 1982).
